  • I have only done it for blood test and surgeries.  I have never done it for religious reasons.

  • Aside from blood tests and medical procedures, I had to starve myself during weigh in time when I was in the navy. One or two pounds over and I would need to be taped and my body is shaped to where the measurements would have me fail. I hated it.

  • when i was more into church (i was like 17) i fasted from food for 5 days all i had was water.

  • Yes, for religious reasons. I can't do it anymore because prolonged hunger causes migraines for me. It was a way of keeping my mind on the sacrifices Jesus made for me, particularly on Good Friday.
