For my son's birthday he has requested a special lunch and we are providing pizza for his kindergarten class, 18 students plus the teacher, and a small birthday treat. The question is how many medium pizzas should we order? I am assuming each child will probably only eat 1 or 2 pieces of pizza and one desert so by my calculations that would be 4 pizzas (32 slices) do you think that is enough or should we get more?

  • I think 2 slices a piece would be good per kid.

Side note::: I would have something other than just pizza for the children who don't like pizza. My daughter doesn't like pizza and she always feels so left out when parents bring in pizza for their kids' birthday. :-)

  • Yeah, I would go with 2 slices apiece. So to be safe I would do 5 pizzas.

  • I would buy 5 to make sure there's enough.

  • I would get five pizzas just to be sure, but count on having leftovers to take home.
