Pop Rocks

My mother was telling me about a friend she has bought about 50 packages if them. He poured them in his cats litter box and mixed it up. Now this litter box is an enclosed one, has a little flap door. Well he's cat goes in there and next thing you hear is "MEOW!" BUMP "MEOW" BUMP!. That cat was so freaked out and was trying to get out.

Funny or not?

All I have to say is he can't get mad when he's cat is to afraid to go back in there and pees and shits else where.

Then it made me think of the youtube video of grandma trying pop rocks for the first time. Now that is funny.
It was also funny when my kids tried it for the very first time as well.

So two questions

Was the cat litter box trick funny?

What was your kids reaction to pop rocks.

  • Time for a de-rail!

We sell a product called BJ Blast. Basically they are pop rocks that you put in your mouth before you give a BJ. It covers the flavor, and pops and sizzles on his unit for a little extra sensation.
At convention another PartyGal stood up and said "Make sure they are all licked off before sex! They will POP inside you!"
Talk about banging a chick.... LOL

  • OK that's not cool.... you could end up with a cat that won't use the litter box after that. Who wants cat piss all over the house!!

  • No, I wouldn't call the cat box thing funny, and you're right, he's going to look for other digs.

My daughter didn't think much of Pop Rocks. The popping action was unexpected.

  • The litter thing is just woefully irresponsible because that cat will NEVER use a box again and then who knows what his fate will be?
My kids aren't fascinated by pop rocks.
Recently the class made "rocket" pops. Stuck lollipop in honey and dipped them in pop rocks. one was terribly thrilled.

  • I think it is cruel to do that to a cat. My son doesn't care for pop rocks.

  • That's cruel. I love a good prank, but that crosses the line!

My daughter tried them not long ago. She thought it was weird.

  • no.

her reaction would probably include crying.

  • The cat prank was just mean. That poor animal had no idea what was going on.

My son is only 3, so he hasn't had them yet. I don't really like them though. That fizzing & popping in my mouth weirds me out.

  • It's cruel to do that. I don't find it funny at all.
