so i posted on friday when i received the report cards that my youngest was at risk of retention.. he has a speech delay ........ so i went in to the office today and talked to administration about requesting an IEP and i was told that it has to be in writting..
sooo i'm wondering what exactly has to be in the letter do i just say
"i am requesting an iep" or do i actually have to go into detail about why i want it?

last one is a wisconsin agency that helps with IEPs- maybe they have a number to call for you in CA
first two are just a simple google search to start your phone calls
