Anyone know much about cars?

Yesterday after I got a car wash, water started dripping from my lights from inside the car. Its the light that is right in back of the rear view mirror. Anyone know why this would happen? I am trying to post a pic as we speak, just need to send the pic from my phone to my email.

Okay tired I cant upload a photo

  • I would guess that the seal for your windshield has a leak.

  • It wouldn't need to be near the door, it would need to get into the cavity between the roof and the interior lining. While the jets that wash the car's undercarriage to shoot upwards, it's extremely unlikely that that water could somehow get into the roof cavity. It's more likely that some water moved sideways while your car moved through the car wash and drove away.

  • You can get a leaks from other places which will come out through unsealed spots. I used to have this exact same thing in my van. Take it to a body shop, let them know what is happening, they will use regular or high pressured water to chase the source of the leak. With the location of your leak, I am guessing front windshield seal, very common ......
