Do you/have you, allowed your kid(s) to watch the same movie over and over...

on the living room tv?
I remember my aunt allowing her daughter to watch Cinderella over and over all day. Would you allow them to take over the tv with their movies all day,day after day?
Most of the time my cousin wasn't even in there, but she'd have a shit fit if you turned it off.

  • I have when I'm trying to get something done. I know I shouldn't, but I have a painting business, so I'll let them watch something continuously while I'm painting. :/

  • I've allowed them to watch the same movies multiple times, but not continuously.

  • They went through their phases of doing that. Not all day but the same movie every day. I would rather they watched it downstairs than unsupervised I my bedroom where the other TV is at.

  • My 6yo is funny. He will put Cars 1 or 2 on the laptop, watch for maybe10 minutes push pause then go to his room and reenact with his toy Cars what he just watched. It can take all day for him to finish the movie.

  • When there's a new movie and it's a hit with my kid, it's usually followed by a second showing, but generally, I don't tolerate the one-movie film festival.

  • we have a "once a day" rule. because we only have Netflix they get single minded with what they want to watch, so mommy made that rule to keep her sanity. maybe when they're older and im not trying to get homework done while they watch TV i'll let them watch something more than once.

  • My oldest used to watch Peter pan everyday for a while. Sometimes he watched it more than once.
