Is it possible for a 3 year old to play quietly?

She's trying. I think she's trying.

But it's not quiet... AT ALL! LOL

My poor baby doesn't get to nap very long during the day.

  • Generally, if they do start playing quietly, it's a good time to see exactly what they've gotten into, because it's usually something you don't want them to do. For example, washable marker isn't all that washable when it's on old hardwood floors...

  • If a 3 year old is palying quietly. they are into something. IMO. Put the baby is another room. With and baby monitor thing.

THIS!!!! I don't not know how many times I have come home and found my 3 year old creating some sort of huge mess and when I say something to my husband he says "But he was playing so quietly I decided to leave him alone and enjoy the quiet."

  • Put baby to nap in its room, keep 3yo away from room. Pretty simple
