Paranoia is baseless, unprovoked behavior. Experience is evaluating a situation, observing it's similarities to previous situations, and concluding the best course of action - usually caution.

If more newbies and anons exercised that same caution, they wouldn't be confused with trolls so often (the ones that aren't actual trolls, that is)
