Do you still wish your x a Happy Valentine's Day?

My bf and his x wife have always had somewhat of an abnormal least in my eyes. I am also divorced and they talk about 3 times more than my x and I do. Anyways, today my bf told me he called her to figure out when he needs to pick up his daughter next and he said after they hung up, she texted him Happy Valentines Day. Now I didn't freak out or anything but am I the only one who finds this a little odd? He seems to think there's nothing wrong with it.

  • Not odd at all. Today, I have told numerous people Happy Valentine's Day and numerous people have told me the same as well. They share a daughter together so yes they would have things to talk about. It sounds like they have it figured out on how to raise a happy, healthy child while divorced.

  • I don't, but that's because we don't get along and I don't talk to him unless there are witnesses present - in the form of judges, lawyers and bailiffs. lol

I wouldn't find it a big deal though. I tell my kids and my friends happy valentines day. Heck, I even say it to my fans. I don't (personally) think of Feb. 14th as being some big, special, romantic deal.

  • Nope, wouldn't wish him happy anything..... unless of course they ever came up w/ jump off a cliff day, then I'd be the first one to text him!! hehehe

  • P.s. while wishing an ex a merry christmas is no biggie, Valentine's & Sweetest day, are a bit more personal, in my opinion... the fact that she talked to him on the phone, & then sent a seperate text, unless it was one of those where you send it to everyone, is a bit weird, but I don't think it's anything to worry about, now if she sent him a Valentine strictly from her, & not one from the kid, I'd have to think twice...
