Where can a disabled person whom is trying to get out of an abusive marriage afford to live?

Im in an abusive marriage. My husband has bipolar. I have tried in this relationship for 22 years. Im disabled. I need some advice on where I can afford to live if I get a divorce. I need to live in the warmest place possible because the heat helps my condition. It does not cure it but it helps. I have no family that I can live with. I hope to get some helpful answers. Thank you in advance.

  • Are you wanting to buy a home? If you are buying for the first time, check with the person who sets up your mortgage. I qualified for a lower down payment and a good rate because of some program meant for disabled home buyers.
