Baby Shower by Skype?

We have three situations in which this might be an idea. My Stepsister is in California but all of the the rest of our family is in Utah but she may not be able to come back. The situation with my sister in law in Pennsylvania is very similar or worse a family friend in India.
We can easily set things up so that the whole room can see and hear then we will put stuff in the mail but it still let's us all get together even though we're all kind of far apart.

WDYT? Sound workable?

  • My mom had a baby shower for me in NV while I was still in CO!
It was all her friends, basically it was a regular old party but people brought me gifts, that my mom later brought to me when she came for my DS birth
