At 6 months old what solid foods was your baby eating?

  • A lot of them. By 7 months my kids were eating what we ate for meals, only cut up very small or mashed with the back of my fork. I wasn't big on using purees, I fed them real food.

  • Yogurt, Oatmeal, Apple Sauce, Sweet Potatoes & some other pureed veggies & fruit mixes.

  • mashed banana, avocodo, egg, yogurt, yams, pasta, whatever we had for dinner pureed well

  • At 6 months a baby shouldn't be eating any solids. Anything they eat should be pureed.

  • Rice cereal, maybe barley cereal and baby oatmeal as well, I can't recall for sure. Pureed peas, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots. Pureed bananas, applesauce. I can't remember everything, but I used Gerber First Foods. The only stuff she didn't want was the meat. Oh, and she loved soft-boiled or overeasy eggs.
