  • Monthly, no. We do try to get together every 2-3 months.

By extended I mean my brothers, their families, and our parents.

I don't worry myself about seeing more extended family members. We are not close.

  • My brothers and sister and their families and I all get together at least every other month or so with my parents. It ends up being 25 plus of us when we're all there. We take a yearly trip together to the beach for a week, but are together for all the holidays and then have picnics, cookouts, pool parties, etc. in between.

  • No, we live too far away from extended family. Once a year if that.

  • Monthly no, they're 3 hours away but we see them every other month!

  • I wish. We have very little family here and we don't see them very often at all. The family we would see all lives far away. Only family we see regularly is my parents.

  • Every few months I fly up to see my aunt and uncle, sometimes sister.

  • We haven't seen our families in 7 years, except for my grandmother. I have been trying to get together with her once a week, but it's been longer than that lately.

  • Not monthly but a few times a year.

Answer by virginiamama71 at 1:05 PM on Feb. 16, 2013

  • It's an 8 hour drive to see my parents and brother, an 6 hour drive to see my sister and her family. Both grandmothers live in the same town as my parents/brother, but one is in a Alzheimer's unit and it's hard to see her. I try to see both grandmas when I visit my parents, which is like once a year, maybe every two or three years.
