Ladies, What do you do when you are pissed and there is nothing you can do about?

Venting...I mean just being pissed in general? (Very pissed)

  • I whine to my friends, which I know doesn't help a lot. I fret about it, then I decide what action I need to take.

  • Actually, I go into the garage, find a piece of scrap wood from my husbands woodworking stuff, and pound it with a hammer until I don't need to anymore. I did this when grieving too. Also works with a tennis racket on a bed. Was told ths technique by a counselor.

  • I say out loud, "I choose to let this go, I choose to let this go, I choose to let this go" until it isn't bothering me any more. It always works. Sometimes, it takes longer than it does others.
