We have three betta fish and a desert tortoise, who will be hibernating for another month and a half.
This weekend we borrowed a dwarf hamster.

3 cats. Our family fosters cats so at certain times of the year we have a lot of animals around.

We had a dog, but he went to live with youngest son who moved out last year.

Love him dearly, but no more pets for us!! I get to visit, but I don't have the dog hair, all over the house, or worrying about what we'll have to do if we stay gone all day long, or want to get away for a weekend.

A guide dog named Ballad. A cat named Sam-I-Am, or Sam for short, from "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. Three parakeets--Pixie, Piper, and Zoom. A grouchy old cockatiel named Count Chickula. Still debating about getting a fish tank, I guess so the whole food chain will be represented.
