Who else's DH/SO works 7 days a week?

I'm beginning to feel like a single Parent & I am actually getting to like being alone! LOL!

I just feel bad for the kids not getting to spend much time with him.

  • My boyfriend owns a small watch and clock repair shop. He's open six days a week, varying hours, and brings work home at night. He usually goes in part of the day on Sunday to catch up as well, so sometimes it seems like we never see him. It's kind of a drag.

  • Not 7 days/week, but some weeks he works 70-80 hours over 5-6 days. Leaving before the kids wake and getting home after they go to bed. He's looking for another job, well same job but different company!

  • Mine works 6 twelve hour+ days, then on his day off he lays on the couch or plays computer games all day. I am essentially a single parent, which is why I don't work so that I am available for the kids. My husband feels bad that he isn't with the kids more (but he could make more effort on his day off).
