If you could only redo one room...would it be kitchen or bathroom?

Me- kitchen. I want a pantry. More space and a gas stove.

  • If I have to pick one, then it'd be the bathroom. We need a new vanity w/ newer lights. I also hate the tile on the walls & floor & would love a brand new color scheme.

  • pantry. we redid our bathroom last year and our 1/2 bath would be cheap to redo. the kitchen tho needs a LOT of work.

  • staciandababy - you don't need a new toliet just a $3.00 wax seal and 2 $1.99 bolts. If you know of anyone with some strength it's a really simple fix and one that I would do & have myself. Just turn the water off to the toliet, flush and remove water. Remove the two floor bolts, lift toliet up scrape off old wax, put new ring down, replace bolts, tighten and you're good after you turn the water back on.

As far as rooms I'm getting ready to start on my kitchen. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with the cabinets. They're expensive but I hate them. They're kind of a bleached white that shows every bit of dirt on them. Thinking of painting them but not sure how well paint would stay on.
