So I've been seeing references to this just about everywhere

(even in the local paper). WTF is the "Harlem Shake"? Is it the latest fad non-dance dance like Gangnam Style.

How does this crap even become popular? Granted in my day we had the Macarena and "Tootsie Roll" but at least they had semi-choreographed moves.

  • Lol YouTube helps it blow up... Just another dance, I don't get it. Ahhh does this mean I'm officially old now that I don't like the new dances coming out?

Still doesn't make sense to me (yes I know what planking and tebowing is) and I still think it's incredibly stupid. Maybe I need to be drunk or something to "get it. why oh why would anyone beyond the age of 14 think this is something "cool" (even in a humerous or sarcastic manner)?

  • My stepson thinks it's the greatest thing ever. He taught my daughter. He tried to teach me as well, but I thought the dance, or at least his interpretation that he showed me, was rather like the way someone would move if he were being electrocuted.
