What admonition do you find yourself repeating over and over to your kids?

If you put your shoes where they belong instead of leaving them wherever you toss them, you'll find them when you need them.

I just said it yet again. If I had a nickel for every time ...

  • Quit picking your sister up! Don't put her on the couch! Leave Kaylie alone! Don't take that from your sister. Stop jumping off your dresser/furniture, etc. Don't play in the toilet! (That's both) You can't eat paper sweetheart; you are not a goat. Here's a book you can chew on.

  • "Clean up your toys, I'm going to vacuum & they'll get sucked up!" or "Stop knocking your sister over" LOL!

  • "get out of his face" seems to be one I use a lot too. My 6yr old is very intens at times and gets too much in his brothers face.

  • "Leave him alone." "Take your hands off of him." "Get out of his face." "Don't talk to him like that." "If you would put your shoes where they belong, we wouldn't have to hunt for them." "Did you look in the laundry basket for your underwear? No? Then how do you know there's none clean?" (That one is usually on laundry day!) "Eat your dinner." "Finish your dinner." (Yes, I know they seem the same but they really are different!)

I have way too many. lol

  • "Be sweet" and "talk nicely" are probably the two most common
