At what age did your child/ren's eye color change if it did?

I think my DH is slightly disappointed that it appears that both of our children are going to be blue eyed. I pretty sure he was hoping our 9 mo Dd would be brown eyed like him. I guess her eye color could still change, but if it does it will be closer to green.

  • well, you know the pics i just posted of my brown eyed girl?

this is her at 2 months(blue eyes), then her 1st birthday(hazel). they didnt turn fully brown until she was almost 2 years old! so with some kids it takes  along time.

  • My 6yr olds eyes change color depending on what color of clothes he is wearing. I don't know if they really do change and if it does I agree with you, I think it will be a greenish color.

  • My son's eyes are still changing and he's 9. As a baby they were bright blue. Then they went to a blue green when he was five or so. Now they're a grayish green and they have a starburst pattern to them.

My daughter's eyes are a rich chocolatey brown, just like her dad's. They went from the Newborn Indeterminate to brown. She's almost 6.

  • My 2 older boys had bright blue for many years then they turned green. So 9months is way too young to be sure.

  • My oldest eyes turned green/hazel when she was 4 yrs old. They were originally blue-gray. My youngest has eyes that constantly change depending on the light (at 3 yrs old). Sometimes her eyes look clear blue, or blue-gray, or green, or light brown.

  • My DD was born with grey eyes and stayed that way. She's now 5. My DS was born with big brown eyes and he's as well stayed that way.

  • 5 months

Then around 3-1/2 to 4 years old they started getting green and gray in there.

Her eye color since is different all the time.  Sometimes they are more blue.  Sometimes they are more green.  Sometimes they are more gray
