What are some healthy snacks that you make for your kids? Which is their favourite?

I'm looking to try some new snacks. Some that have been kid tested preferably! btw my kids eat just about anything, even if they don't think they'll like it they still try it.

  • A pp said fruit & yogurt; we also do fruit & cottage cheese...YUM...my girls love fresh fruits; so they're pretty easy...

Yogurt covered rasins are another fav; you can get them at the health food store without all the sugar! =)

My 4 yr old likes to scoop tuna fish onto crackers (like dip kinda)...

If utensils have been mastered; you can make 'quick' baked apples in the microwave...slice or dice apple and then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and cook in 30 sec intervals til apples are soft and sugar is melted...

  • I like celery with cream cheese or laughing cow cheese on it. Or apples dipped in peanut butter. My nephew loves apples sprinkled with cinnamon.

  • I cut up fresh fruit and get vanilla yogurt and mix it together. They think its a dessert and its yummy. I put grapes, apples, oranges, melon, strawberries and really anything in season then mix about a half a cup of yougurt to a whole cup just to cover it.
