Hair straighteners/flat irons?

Going to get my hair cut today, and I'm gonna pick up a hair straightener. Any preferred brands or suggestions?

  • They do have some good ones at Sally Beauty. I liked my last Jilbere iron, and I just replaced it with this GVP iron. I'm really happy with it. Ion is another good one. Make sure you get the right width for what you are wanting to do. Mine is a 1" because my hair is pretty short and most of the time I will turn it under, so I got plates with slightly rounded edges. Ceramic plates are easy on your hair, and you won't have to go over and over the hair if it's good quality. Mine is a digital that counts up to the right temperature and shuts itself off after an hour.

  • You get what you pay for. Do not buy the cheapest thing!

  • I have a GHD. It's expensive, but worth the money. I had a Solia and a Sedu iron before I got my GHD and they worked very well, but don't even come as close as the GHD. This iron is AMAZING!!!
