  • Just for property (not including school taxes) we pay around $2700. With school taxes it is closer to $8000.

  • ^^^No, mine didn't include trash. We had to pay for waste removal as part of our water bill. Our taxes included the city, school district & a couple of other things. The school took up the bulk of it.

But, we were in a new neighborhood that was gated with a pool & playground so, we had an annual HOA of $750 a yr.

  • Trash and sewer are included in our water bill. We have just shy of 4000 sq. ft. and our lot is considerable smaller than yours is. I think we are about a fifth of an acre. We don't pay for library separately (probably figured into municipality).I live in NE TX.

  • No every 3 months we pay water/sewage $82.18
I take our trash to the County Landfill monthly on Saturdays where they have a fast trash drop off day, for $5 no limit on how much
There is no fee to use our libraries

I would like it if our taxes paid for snow removal. We live on a private road that the State does not clear so its our responsibility. There are just 7 houses on our road, and 2 are empty, 2 have elderly, one has a family that leaves in the winter months for Florida, the other has a lazy man with no job, so its me paying the cost to have the whole road cleared when it snows or we cannot get out.
