What is your favorite bible passage?

I think mine is Judges 19:22-30 where a guy lets his concubine be raped and then cuts her into 12 pieces and spreads her throughout Israel.

  • OP, you dont go on to say that what this man did was so appalling to the people, that his actions caused a civil war in Israel.....

My favorite passage is: Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

  • I don't care for anon trolls regardless of their use of sarcasm. There's enough "drama" over religious debates to begin with we dont' need an anonatwat adding to it.

  • okay ladies! Lets just chill! I do have to say though I am getting tired of every single anonymous post people automatically jump to it being a troll. Some are obvious but others seem legit but yet they are called trolls.

  • Matthew 22, Verses 37-40

"Jesus replied, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

I'm not seeing much love here ...
