Heartburn med?

I was given prilosec for bad heartburn ive been taking one a day for almost 2months is that unsafe to the baby could it cause any harm???

  • I don't know about prilosec, but I'm on Zantac, and you can also take pepcid or tums. but I had to quit the tums cause i had to take one nearly every 30 mins, and would go through 3 bottles a week. zantac is working great for me.
    if your doc prescribed the prilosec, then no worries, he knows what he's doing.

  • I took Prilosec through my whole pregnancy. My doctor said it was safe, and especially since the alternative was eating nothing and laying around like one big ball of misery.
