  • I had chosen the name Rachel for a girl and we named our son Aaron. We picked those not because they were biblical, but because we liked them. They were "normal".

  • My daughter is called Sarah Elizabeth, from the Bible, because both of those women were blessed with children in their old age after they thought they couldn't have any, just like I was. I alsolike Hannah, Rebekah, Rachel, Leah, and lots of othr girl names.

My stepson is Stephen, like the first Christian martyr, although I don't think that's why his parents gave him that name. I also like Daniel, although it's so common now I'm not sure I would use it; there are already two in my family.
