Spin off...what is your electric bill during the winter

I'm curious, so many keep their homes so toasty. What is your typical bill and do you live in an apartment or house?

  • Omg. Holy ape shit bat man! We be freezing our ass off and last months was the worst ever at 215. Dh bitches every 5 minutes about it too. He would die from heart attack at 400.

Last winter I took the kids and went to help family that was sick. He likes to brag that the electric bill was 40 dollars while we were gone for the same month as the 215. " the heater only kicked on once, and it never came on during the snow storm".

  • Our last one was $130. But our furnace runs off propane...and we have a set amount to pay $160 every month...but the propane also runs our dryer, so not all of that is heat.

But the two combined is approx $300/month. We live in a house in Ohio.
