Holy rollers........ holy crap!

I've been friends w/ this woman since jr. high. She's a wonderful person, w/ a huge heart, but a few years ago she "found jesus" & ever since she posts daily on fb about something or someone new, that she has found out is satanic, part of the illuminati, or that has some secret evil meaning... I'm truly happy for her, & am not putting her down for her deep faith. I think it's wonderful that she's so spiritual. But.... according to her & her spiritual friends it seems that there is nothing that isn't EVIL & the work of satan. It gets kind of annoying when she blows up the newsfeed w/ posts about how 50 diff. celebs are all part of the illuminati because they covered 1/2 their face in a photo, or how the peace sign is evil, the dollar bill is part of a great conspiracy... etc. etc. etc.... I don't want to delete or offend her, but sometimes I'm just like good grief woman, what's next? The easter bunny is really a symbol of satan stealing the souls of our children??? How do you deal w/ a friend like this? Just ignore the 25 posts a day, or mention that maybe an occasional post is interesting, but 25 a day is a bit overkill??? ARGH!!

  • Yea, sounds like she went around the bend.

  • Wow. I'm an evangelical Christian, but that even sounds a little over the top to me. I have a similar, but very opposite issue with one of my friends that posts pics of half naked women every day. I want to see her posts about her life, just not her posts of the women she finds attractive! I just scroll past and ignore.

  • LOL panda
I am not familiar with FB so as above if you can keep her as a friend but not see all her posts it would be good. I think maybe she is just overenthusiastic as we all can get with something new. I think I like you last suggestion best.
You might find out what group shee is with and find out about them and if they are legit.

  • Suggest she seek therapy? Seriously she sounds a little off.

  • I have a friend like this and I hide her posts its easier than fighting her.

  • Block her posts from your news feed. But, honestly, it sounds like your friend may no longer be 100% mentally stable. frequent rants about conspiracies & things being "evil" are signs of schizoid personality disorder & paranoid schizophrenia.
