  • I vaccinate, for the most part, on the peds schedule however I will not do more than 2 shots a visit. Sometimes I go back for 1 or 2 more in 6 months. In fact DD is 6 months behind on one vax... not sure which one... but she will be getting it next month.

  • my kids have had all their immunizations because i work at a doc office and they come see me a lot and I would prefer to lower the risk of anything they might catch.

  • I trusted her pediatrician and got her vaccinated as recommended by him.
and when (at 20 months) she had 4 shots at once, just after a cold/flu, she had bad reaction, huge red mound, then steroid cream.
she lost all her words, lost eye contact, became disengaged, was smashing her head into the floor etc

she got dx of autism at three
she is 5.5 now, she has words, no linger smashes head...

i fired her ped, cleaned up her diet- meaning =Feingold elimination diet
and imo, having 4 shots right after having simple illness- did trigger her autism, or plunged her deep into spectrum

imo, most kids are fine with the huge amount that are given vs years back
BUT, some kids do have bed reaction, and some moms will swear that after a bed reaction, their kids brain was affected, i am one of those moms, i saw it with my own eyes, i do not need to read any studies

    S P E A D them out, and never after child has been s

  • my daughter had zero after her huge reaction at 20 months
    this year
she is caught up on all but one
i spread those out at least one months in between
and last Spring she got ill, had to go on antibiotics - i went 6 months before she had another one, and i was giving her probiotics after antibiotics to build her immune system up again

S P E A D them out, and never after child has been sick at all

  • All of them and Because I love my children and grandchild

Answer by Dardenella at 10:34 AM on Mar. 1, 2013

  • My 3 children have had all of the recommended vaccinations. My reasons for doing so are I believe in vaccinating and I trust my pediatrician. He is up to date on vaccine information and he would never suggest any vaccines he did not feel confident and believe in.
