  • parents had one in their bedroom that was metal
    dialing that one was a nail breaker
    there was always a pencil or pen next to it to use when dialing

  • Omg my mom had one that was fashioned to the wall in the kitchen and I slammed it so hard on one of my friends when we had a fight that I literally tore it off the wall lol.

  • lol! they were still around when i was little, my grandma had hers for a long time. she didn't switch to the type that you have to pull out the long antenna until i was about 10 or so. she still has that kind too!

  • My parents still have one in the basement and when she answers it I can tell because she sounds like she's in a tunnel. The grandkids always want to make calls on it. LOL
