Why bother?

Why do people bother answering questions in the debate sections if all they're going to say is the OP is wrong or they disagree, but they don't bother to say why or what they disagree with? That's not debating, that's having a snit.

  • Because they think they disagree, but they don't know why they disagree. They have to wait for someone to tell them why they disagree before answering any further.

  • What anime said. They disagree b/c they don't like what's being said but, they don't have any facts to back up their disagreement, just pure emotion.

  • Couldn't the same question be asked vice versa? What good is a debate if everyone agrees? I'm not saying you, OP, but it does seem that what's good for the answers poster is good for the original poster and it seems that some ask questions or pose a quote or pic or something and expect everyone to agree. Debate is having the input of diverse opinions and sometimes the only answers are those in agreement with the one who asked the question.

    Meanwhile, back at the bat cave...........
