  • I'd stay away form HP... they are getting out of the PC business and switching their focus to printers.

  • Go to Tiger Direct. You can get amazing deals on refurbs.
    You might want to avoid Windows 8. It's it a thorn in my side....

  • I like my notebook bc it's small. Now I'd probably go wt tablet. One thing I don't like about it is the screen size - too small to be compatible with some of the other programs I'm using - for the camera etc. if it's your only computer go wt laptop. The one I had once was toshiba, like it a lot.

  • I have a Dell Inspiron 17 inch monitor... I LOVE it!! DH is in the business and he picked it out. I highly recommend it!!

  • I think two places come to mind  www.costco.com  which has hp for 399 dell 649 and at  www.frys.com   


    I like HP, have three of them  also check out www.hsn.com  and get virus software there also called Viper

  • You will need to really search because the push is on for windows 8. I have all flavors of windows except 8 ,not ready for that yet
