When a question closes

it can be closed with BA, and it shows this by highlighting the BA
it can be deleted- then you can not see the question anymore at all

but when it says 'question is closed' and no BA and no deletion
how does that happen?
can the OP just close it with no BA, and not deleting whole thing?
does this always mean that admin closed it?

have seen this before and never got it
just wondering

  • OP can choose to either close without picking a BA, or they can pick a BA. If I can't figure out who to give BA to then I just go by votes. I am not sure if I have ever closed without awarding a BA.

  • No I close most of my questions without selecting a BA. I do those for the questions that are JFF mainly.
