If you are going to workout, How long do you do it and how often in a day?

I wish I had a routine, some say 30 mins is sufficient.

  • I do cardio for about 40-45 minutes and then weights 3 - 4 times a week. Sometimes I will do yoga at home as well.

  • I've been bad at exercising since we've moved. I lost the "key" to the treadmill, but just found it over the weekend. So I guess I have no excuse now. Sigh...

  • I do 1-2 hours 5-6 days a week (usually 6)

    I do zumba classes pretty much all of those days for an hour (2 hours of it on Saturday and some Wednesdays) otherwise I take pilates and piyo classes (one on Monday before zumba and one on Thursday also before zumba)

    Sometimes, I will do belly dance videos or the weight machine or whatever at home too

    Sunday -I do none of that ;)

  • I meet with my trainer twice a week for a half an hour and do 45 min cardio on top of each session. Two other days I get my heart rate up for 30min, either running around with the dog or with the wii fit.

  • *when I started this a year ago- I was doing 15-30 min a day EVERY day for awhile then added more time and different things besides the treadmill as time went on

  • I want to start biking around the neighborhood but it's too dark early enough in the mornings and too dark by the time we come home lol.

  • I work out three hours a day six days a week. On some days I airborne shuffle with a full pack or jokingly what I call a full pack.

  • Normally 5-6 days a week, at least 30 minutes to an hour. Some days are shorter, and I've taken more rest days now that I'm pregnant. :)

  • Start slow. Twenty to thirty minutes every other day, so you don't hurt too much or burn out. Then start increasing to thirty minutes a day or more.
