Speaking of creepy, did your baby monitors ever pick up frequencies from other homes?

LOL- when my oldest was a baby (the only time i used monitors) hers would. it was the creepiest thing the first time it happened. all was quiet- she was napping upstairs in her room, and all of the sudden i hear talking. talk about the hair on your entire body standing up. it ended up being a conversation the neighbors were having!

  • I heard ''Get out'' over mine once, about five years ago. Lived in the country, nearest neighbors 3 and a half miles away.... Yeah, monitors went in the trash.

  • Only when we were searching for a clear channel. I guess some people never turn their monitors off. I make sure to turn them off as soon as we go downstairs. We only have audio monitors. I heard that some creepos watch other people on video monitors!

  • No, but we aren't close to anyone for that to happen and I only use them at night when I'm asleep.
