  • Have you tried board or card games? My son has ADHD and tonight we played a War Snake game and a contractions Go Fish game. Of course I only have one so that helps a lot. Could your husband take one or two of them while you play with the other one?

  • I would separate them still and let them have their own quiet/down time while you spend some one on one time with them each individually. Try to offer different activities- puzzles, Legos, Lincoln Logs, reading, drawing/writing, etc.

You need to wear them out before dinner

  • Does their medication make them sleepy? I know when my oldest was put on intuniv, the doc told me if it made him sleepy, to give it to him at night, instead of in the morning. If it does, I woul suggest giving it to them just before/after dinner, so they will be calming down the closer to bedtime it gets.

  • warm baths, quiet time like reading or I spy. Does texture bother them? Maybe finger painting or body painting with the soap/paint then they can have a bath.
