How long are your cycles?

I've never tracked my periods. Even when I found out I was pregnant I didn't really know I'd missed my period, I just "felt" like it'd been a while and since we were kind of trying I tested and got a postive. I ususally get PMS symptoms about a week before I start, and thats how I know to expect it. When I got my period this last time I started tracking with an ovulation app. Its been 40 days since my last period lol. It doesn't "feel" like its been any longer than usual and I'm starting to get crampies so I expect it to come within the next week. Definitely don't feel pregnant. I'm pretty sure 40+ days its a pretty long cycle though lol. How long are yours?

  • I don't bleed anymore but I still get migraines when I ovulate and when I would have a period. They are exactly 28 days. I have a migraine every other Monday.

  • Mine have been regular 28 days for most of my adult life. The only thing that changed it for me was when I was breastfeeding my middle child, I had whacky cycles. They ranged from 26-45 days. And since I have the Mirena, I don't keep track at all. My period is so light now that I don't have to wear anything more than a pantyliner. So there is not much reason to keep track.

Forty days is long, but nothing to worry about. There is a wide range of normal.

  • I'm not really sure. I've never had regular periods. It isn't unusual for me to go 3 months or more without a period at a time. I had no trouble getting pregnant though.

  • Mine vary a lot. Since June 2012 when I started tracking them they've been between 29 and 51 days long. My most recent was 35 days.
