  • Yes, I did for years. It was odd, however, having to explain to my 10 yo daughter what it was when she saw one a few months ago :)

  • Sure I have. I learnd to type when I was in the fourth grade so I could hand in homework, since penmanship was beyond me. *Smile.* People didn't start using home computers regularly till I was in my twenties. I just got rid of my last typewriter a few years ago because I could no longer buy ribbon for it or find anybody to repair it. I sort of hated to pitch the thing in the trash; it had cost me a few hundred dollars when it was new and state-of-the-art.
