Anyone know how I can make little individual ice cream cakes?

We love ice cream cakes - and I thought, how cute would it be if I made little ice cream cakes out of cupcake pans - would this work??? Anyone try it??? Then top with a huge mound of cool whip and sprinkles? My daughter has a birthday party this weekend...

  • I would soften the ice cream and use heavy duty liners and make them like cupcakes. Just layer your ingredients, refreeze and unmold them.

  • I would use individual Jell-o molds.
Soften the ice cream, make the mini cakes with any ingredients you want between layers and freeze them. When you want to unmold them, just soak the mold in some warm water. Decorate them.

  • I'd just make sure it was well frozen and then take a hot knife and cut it into squares. Decorate as you want.
