Back in the mid 80's,my mom had this sore spot on her calf. It soon got red and inflamed, and developed a pus filled blister. She assumed it was a bug bite. When it didn't heal, she went to the doctor. They gave her an antibiotic, and a cream for the spot. Nothing worked. The infection spread. They decided to cut it open and test the tissue. It just came back as a normal staph infection(no MRSA) and it should have healed up. The day she was going to go in for IV antibiotics, she noticed something just on the edge of the wound that looked like a string. She picked at it,and ended up pulling out a foot long hair. No idea whose it originally was (we all had short hair) or how it got under her skin. The wound healed up pretty quick after that.
The doctor said that was a first for him.

EEKKK. I have heard that some people have things inside their bodies & it was originally part of a twin that dissolved.
