My uncle had a liver transplant on 2-12-13 and he now has.....

Leukemia. And the liver is being rejected. And he's in total renal failure. The meds are doing nothing to stop the rejection. He's getting dialysis twice a week. Chemo is out of the question
So $750,000 later,a year of hell, and they now give him 4 months to live. There's nothing more they can do for him. They sent him home to die.

My aunt is close to a total nervous breakdown

Life lesson? Don't drink yourself to death. You're not the only one you're hurting.

  • I remember your last post about yout uncle and how you didn't feel he deserved it since he drank himself sick. I am not going to tell you I feel different. I think there should be rules in place so that people who did the damage to themselves shouldnt be allowed to get transplants. But, anyway, I am sorry for your aunt. I am sure this has been an emotional rollercoaster for her. And, for the rest of your family. I know you feel he put himself in this situation, it is still hard to watch a fmaily member die. Keep strong and remember you and your family are in our thoughts here.
