Whats for dinner?

i took out ground beef, but i am in a ground beef rut. i dont want spaghetti, meatloaf, tacos... dont have the fixins for sloppy joes or a casserole. thought of chili but dont have all the ingredients for that either. sigh... maybe cheeseburgers? =/

  • Burgers sound good, or beef stroganoff! Shephards pie, sloppy joes are easy the ingredient list on manwich cans is so simple.

  • DH took out some lamb spare ribs and is marinating them.

    I'm having a cheese and avacado sandwich as I drive to my 6:30 meeting that is an hour away.

  • Spaghetti and garlic bread. If my burger thaws enough, I'm planning to make meatballs. Right now, though, it's sitting on my counter in a big frozen lump, going, "Haha, it's cold out and you thought I would thaw, didn't you?"

    Stupid burger. It'll regret that when we eat it later.

  • Chicken, potato salad & Hawaiian sweet rolls. Thanks to the Kroger deli. :) (We have my dau's B-Ball practice this eve., so short on time.) But I am making bacon wrapped pork medallions tomorrow for dinner. :p

  • Hey OP- if you have any beans, taco seasoning & crescent rolls, you could make something different w/ that pound of ground beef.  After cooking the seasoned beef & beans, put into a baking pan & you put the crescent rolls on top & bake til golden/crispy on top.  You can add shredded cheese if you like.  Sour cream too. I made that a couple of weeks ago & it was a hit. :)  Very filling.
