I always have, I am constantly playing out scenarios in my head.
I will think "I should take the baby for a walk in the stroller"
Then five minutes after I imagine walking down the street and having a car hit us or a man come up to us with a gun and say he wants the stroller and running home with my baby in my arms or etc.
Then we don't go on the walk.

Yes, I think like that too! I'm contemplating whether or not to take the truck to pick up my Son off the bus or just put the LO in the stroller & go. Then I think, it's too windy & what if a branch falls off a tree on us while we are walking. Guess I'll take the truck! I wonder if Men think like this, I bet not.

I have done that, but I don't let it stop me from my plans. I feel like I have played it out in my head & I'm prepared & know how I would handle any given situation. I can understand in today's world being worried about the bad guys out there, but if we are aware of our surroundings, & prepared w/ an exit strategy, we should not have to live our lives in fear. If we do, THEY win. KWIM? So take that baby for a walk. If you feel it's necessary, then take some self-defense classes at the Y or something. But don't stay inside b/c of the 'what ifs" *Hugs*
