Update: the new Oz movie

I posted a day or so ago asking if it would be too scary for a 6 year old because the previews worried me. We watched it in 3d today and it was freaking awesome. Not scary at all! Very funny and cute. The effects were fantastic.

My 6 yea old only jumped at one part and I did too. She wasn't scared and it kept her attention. It's a must see family movie in my opinion.

  • Oh yes it is a family film! It's rated PG. I swear it's the best movie I've seen in years! We are going back to see it again next week. The adults will love it as much as the kids.

  • Noooooo, don't wait. You have to see it in 3D. No doubt about it. I don't want to watch it in 2D.

  • Is it honestly worth paying for the 3d...or is the 3d kind of lame on this one?
It seems that so many are done badly, just to get the extra money on the ticket price-

  • I will either wait till it goes to the $1 theater or DVD as well. I am cheap and plus dont want to pay $9 a kid in case mine find it scary or they dislike it.

  • Yes, this is worth paying for the 3D. I promise if you are going to see it you will not regret paying more. Our theater is very reasonable. 3D matinee is only 7 bucks for adults and 4 for kids. At night it's 3 dollars more.
