Do you twitter?

If so, why?
I just don't really understand it, so if you can enlighten me to the benefits of it, I'd like to know.

  • No, it's basically just like only being able to do FB updates, without all the other stuff.

  • I had it for a week and got rid of it. I got creeped out by the large number of strangers who wanted to "follow" me. Too weird.

  • No. I have a Facebook and I'm on Cafemom. How many different forms of social media do we really need?

  • So I can watch Nathan Fillion tell people what to say after an embarrassing moment, Michael Ian Scott argue with Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Fry live update his travels around the world, Kevin Smith and Alton Brown show up their detractors, the Mars Rover send back pics from Mars, the Bronx Zoo Cobra plot his next escape attempt...

  • *Michael Ian Black, though Michael Scott has his "own" acct, too

  • I have an account. I use it as a last resort when I can't get ahold of my youngest. I used to keep up with some people I met in Real Estate School, but that died off.....

  • I do, because I use it for my writing work. I can announce contests, updates on my books, things like that - and it *can* get me more exposure, because people will retweet what I share, and those people can retweet, and so on. They can share on Facebook, too, but...I don't know. I guess it's just another platform to use.

  • I do not.

Answer by DJDNY at 8:50 PM on Mar. 9, 2013

  • No. I really see no point in me doing so. I don't even update my FB status.
