3 Bumps

Did you save the clothes from your first child for your next one?

I packed those clothes around for three years and it finally paid off, I won't have to buy my baby any clothes til the 12 month mark where my first kid apparently started eating actively and stained every piece of clothing there!

Anywho I have pictures of my girls in the same outfits and plan on making a quilt from their little clothes.

  • A quilt from the clothes is a cute idea. I passed all of my daughter's on when she outgrew them.

  • Yes, I saved everything from my first. It worked out well because I had two boys and their birthdays are a week apart, so everything is in the right season. I only had to toss a few pieces over the years because the one thing I am super good at is getting laundry stains out. I can get anything out of anything.

  • That is a cool quilt idea. Better make two!
I can't believe how much they look alike at the same age! Wow! Both are so cute.

  • Yes. I even have clothes my 11 yo dd wore that my now 2 yo is wearing. But even better - I have a dress my picture was taken in, my 11 yo's picture was taken in and now my 2 yo's pic. I'm saving it for their girls.

  • Yes, but the first was a boy & second was a girl. She wears his colorful T-shirts, sweat shirts, P.J.'s & his slippers. When she finally realizes what she is wearing, I'll buy more girly things. I dressed my Son in very bright colors so they are OK for a girl for now. I am really glad I kept all the blankets & other baby gear too like the stroller & Pack & Play especially. I LOVE the blanket idea!

  • Yes, I did. I didn't want to get rid of anything & that definitely paid off.
