Do you believe if you eat certain foods or take certain vitiams it makes you more likely to have twins?

  • Yams have natural estrogen in them. Some think if you eat a lot of yams it increases your odds of having fraternal twins. This is based on the fact that a village in Africa that has a diet high in yams also has the highest incidence of twins.

  • No, but women of older age in pregnancy makes twins more likely. (35 and up). Also taking the medication Clomid increases the chance of a twin pregnancy.

  • They also say yams/ sweet potatos makes u have twins too but I think it is genes
