  • Very well could be. All of us have been having sinus issues since the weekend. The weather around here fluctuates so much at this time of year & can wreak havoc on your sinuses. Luckily you have that appt. tomorrow. GL

  • I would take her in its been several days could be a sinus infection. My dd had a headache with a high fever and it turned out to be strep throat. She insists her throat never hurt.

  • sinus infection?
Does she feel the need to blow her nose, but when she does nothing comes out?
THAT is a sinus infection. Does she have any pressure in say, forehead, teeth, ears etc.?

  • Just just tells me her whole head hurts. She seems to be snot free which has me really confused but I can't figure out another reason for a fever and a headache... she was coughing a little last week...

  • She may be brewing something that hasn't popped out yet. BUT! I would forgo the shots until she feels better even if they say it's OK to give them. You never know what she may have & I wouldn't add another virus to the mix. Hope she feels better soon!

  • I used to work with a pediatrician, children don't usually have sinus infections because they dont have the sinus spaces opeed up enough until they are about 10.....anyways ,something to think about. It could still be a cold r something viral....is she running a fever, or tugging at her ears....also is she complaining of a stiff neck at all?

  • I guess I should have updated and closed this. She had a double ear infection- failed her hearing test- and what the Dr. suspects is seasonal allergies- since the rest of the family has them. She got flonase and allergy meds. No problems since.
