How much sleep do you get?

If I am not interrupted I will sleep 12 hours.

I was watching Dr oz today and he said adults who get 10 or more hours may have thyroid issues.

  • I seem to be maxxing out at 4 (hence being up at this time and can't go back to sleep). I'm not happy about that but hopefully will be back to 8 in the near future. Growing up I only needed 6 but I'm old now and want/need more!

  • If I am not interrupted, I can sleep 12 hours. I do that when the kids go to grandmas, I usually get 7-8 hours, but I could sleep more

  • i try to get 7, but usually by the time I actually fall asleep I average at 5-6 during the week and 9-12 on weekends.

  • On the weekend I was getting close to 12 at night - my dh usually gets up with the kids, but now it's soccer season so for the next 8 weeks we will be at the soccer field by 9 am Sat morning! During the week I get 7-8/night when the kids are in school, 8-9 when they aren't.

    if I get to sleep in...8, maybe 81/2
    I usually get up at 5 and when I sleep in- I will make it until about 6:30

  • I had been getting six, but the 3yo is on a better schedule now and is going down at 8 or so. Now I can easily get eight and boy do I feel better!
