  • Yes- I'm not Catholic either, but when they broke in to make the announcement, you could just feel the positive energy from all the people waiting to see their new Pope. Very exciting.

  • It was a lot of coverage of a smokestack.  It doesn't have the same feel on TV as it would in person standing with the crowds.  I would have loved to be at  Vatican Square.

  • I am not a praticing Catholic anymore but one change I would like to see made is priests and nuns allowed to marry.So many Catholics use their priest as a counselor,IMO he cannot give good advice having never experienced marriage and being a dad. Same with the nuns for wife/mom. Many Christians serve God and have outside careers. This is how I see a priest/nun,this is heir career choice.
